Another seamless way to monetize your site is through our WordAds program. WordAds is the official WordPress.com advertising program available to publishers on our platform.
To qualify, you must have an eligible plan on your site. An application is required but is typically approved automatically.
Once your application is approved, just sit back and let us worry about all the technical details and advertising negotiations with brands. We partner with the largest ad networks in the world and negotiate the most competitive rates for our publishers.
If you’d like to customize where ads are displayed on your site, you can do so directly in the dashboard by going to My Site -> Tools -> Earn -> View Ad Dashboard. Click on the Settings tab:
How to apply
To apply, navigate to the Ads section of your site’s dashboard by going to My Site -> Tools -> Earn and clicking on the Earn Ad Revenue button:
Follow the prompts to continue the application.

Sites with an eligible plan can also provide advertising through third-party ad networks like Google AdSense, OpenX, Lijit, BuySellAds, and Vibrant Media, or by selling advertising space on your site. When you sign up for other services, they will typically provide you with a piece of code to add to your site. You can do this by following the steps here.

How to sign up
There’s no application to sign up! To get your unique referral link, head over to your Earn dashboard by going to My Tools -> Earn. Near the bottom of the page you’ll see your referral link:
Share that referral link with your friends and family, use it on your social networks, and even add it to your blog posts. That’s it!
