Add topic to favorites
Hi, ive got sharing buttons on my posts and got what I want there – however, I am looking for a ‘Instagram’ button but cant see one, so there fore I have to copy everything and then put it manually onto instagram

Is there a ‘instagram’ button I have missed?

Any help please?

You need to add an Instagram widget on your website. Please use the help documentation on adding a widget to WordPress.com site: https://wordpress.com/support/widgets/#adding-and-configuring-widgets

To configure your Instagram widget after adding it to your website take a look at this : https://wordpress.com/support/instagram/instagram-widget/

But that doesn’t bring a instagram button to click for after a post? Facebook, twitter etc has a button but cant see still a instagram button?

Hello Sharonharvey2,

If you’re not seeing this share button when the others are showing up it means that Instagram currently doesn’t allow you to share content from another website.

So why is it allowing connection from wordpress to Instagram?

This connection is to enable you display your Instagram feeds on your website through widgets.

Right thank you for that link, instagram is a great social media platform but it still has one or two faults with it.

No sure. Mostly for you to do that is to copy your website url with the post and share it manually on Instagram.

Doing it this way would not also work for you.
