Hi there! Can you clarify how you are splitting the XML file and what size you are setting the split files to? Typically you will want to split them to 10 MB each or less. If you can share more details on the tool you are using to split the file, a sample split file, and any errors you are getting when trying to import a split file, we’ll be happy to help :)

Since you in your recommendation did not tell me which tool that works I just googled and used Pinetools. The files were bigger then 10mb, so I did it again now with files for approx 8mg. But still the same result. before uploading i make sure the file name is .xml not the part.. that pinetools add.

Sorry, we’re unable to process the Blogger file.
Make sure you are using a valid WordPress export file in XML or ZIP format. Still need help? -
Do you have a suggestion of a tool I could use to make sure the files works with the import? The original file is 262mb.

You can give this one a try that has worked for other folks: https://www.isitwp.com/wxr-file-splitter/

Did unfortunately not work. Any other suggestions?

Can you send us the file so we can attempt the import ourselves on our test sites?
Feel free to use any of these methods:
- Dropbox
- Google Drive
- https://wetransfer.com/
Thank you!

You can share a link to download the XML file to help@wordpress.com. Please share the original, unsplit file.

Done! Its sent from (email visible only to moderators and staff) – I am helping Annika with her blog.
-
Thank you! Can you please confirm the subject line of the email? We’re not seeing it just yet.
Even better, if you can email us at the above address from your registered WordPress.com email address (without the attachment!), we’ll continue this thread over email.

The thing is that the person who has this wp- account is not “technical” so I help her.
Sent it through WeTransfer.
Here is a link to get the file!

Thanks for sharing those details.
We will test importing the XML file you shared, and let you know if we need any other information from you.

Hello @annikasmail4347871f99!
Our developers managed to implement a fix and split the XML.
Please download this zip archive https://d.pr/f/yS1s1N (it will expire in 1 week).
Extract it on your device and you will find 11 numbered XML files.
Please upload the first one as described here https://wordpress.com/support/import/coming-from-blogger/
Once the file is loaded, you can close the browser page. The importer will send an email once finished, and after that, it can continue with the remaining files.
Keep in mind that on your site kankaglenreston.wordpress.com you have 1GB of storage since it’s on a free plan. You may need to upgrade to a paid plan to get more storage: https://wordpress.com/support/space-upgrade/
Let us know how the import goes. We are here!

Just as I wrote above comment it started to fail. The two first files worked perfectly. But third and fourth (have not tried any more) is giving me an error.
There don’t appear to be any authors in your import file.
