Site set to inactive after trying to update material

  • I was in the process of updating my blog. I reset the theme to a new theme, then went about adjusting the widgets so they fit on the new theme. In the process, I went to see how my blog looked and discovered it had been set to inactive. Not sure what I did or what happened to my blog. It worked before I started updating my widgets. Can anyone help me with this? I really need to get my blog back up and running. Thanks!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Actually the specific wording on the site is:

    fitclub2go.wordpress.com is no longer available.
This blog has been archived or suspended for a violation of our Terms of Service.
For questions or concerns, contact WordPress.com Support.

I cannot see anything in the TOS that would explain why my account was archived or suspended.

I’m sorry but this is not a matter for posting to a public forum. We Volunteers answering support questions have no role to play in this process. This is between you and Staff. If you have a warning notice on with a link in it — please click that link. That link works at all times (even when the regular contact form is closed).

If you contacted Staff by using the “click here to contact us” link in the notice, the ToS department definitely received your request. Please be patient as they’ll be getting back to you as soon as they can.

  • Sorry, I never received notification that the site was archived or suspended, so I wasn’t aware of any other links I needed to click on (other than what’s shown on the page you also copied). I tried the support, but they were closed, which is why I turned here. I also wasn’t aware we couldn’t discuss ToS issues. Thanks for the advice. Do you know when I should be receiving a notice?

  • I”m sorry but I have no additional information.

  • To add to what timethief said:

I tried the support, but they were closed, which is why I turned here.

No, what you need to try is the link that appears on your dashboard please.

Please: if you’ve any concerns, as timethief said, raise them with staff directly, as there is nothing we users can do for you. Thank you and good luck.

  • Ah, got it. I didn’t realize it would show up in the dashboard. Thank you very much. I’ll look into it.
