Freshly Pressed widget not showing in dashboard

Hello, one of our posts was Freshly Pressed today and is up on the Freshly Pressed page/reader, but we have not received the widget in our dashboard as yet. It’s been a couple of hours now. How long does it generally take?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If your blog has been Freshly Pressed, you will have received a dashboard notification and email from WordPress.com, and you will likely see a corresponding bump in overall stats.

This was the email one of my writers received:

“Your post will appear at http://discover.wordpress.com/, which is accessible to logged-in WordPress.com users as well as visitors. If you’d like, you can add a “Featured by Freshly Pressed” badge to your site, which will appear in your widget configuration page in Appearance > Widgets once your post is published. Just click on the Freshly Pressed widget to add it to your sidebar and choose your style.”

I’m trying to locate that widget.

@westlifebunny, the widget is called ‘Freshly Pressed’ and the description will read ‘Display a Freshly Pressed badge in your sidebar’. Unfortunately I don’t know how long it takes to appear on your widget list (at a guess I’d say around 24 hours), but I can see this thread has been tagged for a modlook, so hopefully someone should be able to answer you soon :)

Thanks for the reply, theinsanityaquarium! I took a look again and it’s still not in our dashboard. I’m guessing even though it was published today, you’re right—it could take about 24 hours or so, or maybe we’re in a queue of sorts and add it later? Whatever the case, thanks for the congrats! Really proud of all our writers on the site. Hopefully a mod will respond with a clarification soon. :)

Just an update to anyone who reads this thread, we finally got our Freshly Pressed widget showing up in admin dashboard. It showed up after 6 hours of being published on FP. Thanks, again everyone! :)

I’m actually having the same problem. An article on our blog was freshly pressed about a week ago and I can’t find this widget.
