Error: Too Many Redirects
-
Hi. My blog is not showing up in google search. I put in a crawl request. The result says “URL is not on Google: Indexing errors” and then the error says “Page Fetch: Failed, Redirect Error”. When I looked up more information on the crawl report it says that the error is too many redirects. I would appreciate help fixing this. I can’t figure it out.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
Can you confirm you followed these steps to verify your site?
https://wordpress.com/support/site-verification-services/#google-search-console.

Ok, that’s really all you can do on our end. In most cases, the verification is immediate but it may take up to 72 hours for Google to recognize your domain as verified.
If you still see errors by the end of the week, let us know and we’ll take a closer look.
Thanks.

I’m still getting the same error saying that the site cannot be indexed due to an redirect error, “too many redirects”.

Hi there,
Because I see a few sites under your account, I just wanted to confirm and make sure we are referring to https://nimbleveggies.wordpress.com/?
I usually see this issue associated with custom domain nameserver changes or plugin conflicts. I wanted to make sure this is not in reference to a different site.
Let us know, thanks!

Could you confirm the address exactly as you’ve added it to Google? As my colleague mentioned, we typically don’t see this with free sits hosted here. I’m wondering if maybe you put a www in the address for the google settings, for example, or an http instead of https. Or, if you were using a custom domain that’s redirected to the free WordPress.com address, that could cause issues, too.
If you can get a screenshot, and upload it to https://wordpress.com/media or snipboard.io (and link it here), that might help, too.
