Welcome to First Friday, a weekly open thread where any new blogger can share a link to his or her very first post with the larger WordPress.com community. To share your first post with us, copy and paste the link right into a comment here. If you’re not new, you can still be a part of First Fridays: visit a link or two, and leave the blogger a like or comment.

Please don’t use this as a space to share your first post…. that you published three years ago; ditto for simply sharing your latest post. Posts should have been published within the last month, and should be your first post. We’ll remove other posts to keep this space focused for new bloggers.

We ask that you help us keep this space focused by following a few additional guidelines:

  • We encourage anyone who shares a link to visit a few other bloggers. New readers for all!
  • When commenting, the third time is not the charm: don’t share the same link repeatedly, or in multiple First Friday threads. We’ll remove repeat posts.
  • Link directly to your new post, rather than to your blog generally — it makes it that much easier for folks to like the post or leave you comments.
  • Avoid repeated “Follow for a follow!” comments. (Tip: if you’re trying to build a readership, it’s much more effective to visit and comment on individual bloggers.)

    4. I thought I had a pretty okay template, but when I saw yours my mind was blown, learnt a lot like how blogs and quotes are differentiated. The color coordination and fonts look good too and obviously, the blogs are amazing, wishing more success to you.

      2. Thanks a lot, would like to keep up, why dont you add an option to follow via email, so other people outside wordpress can just follow you by adding their email, I hope this helps 🙂

  8. I’ve been blogging for about a month now, my colleagues and I post about anything. We speak about trending sport topics, history subjects, and even life essentials. We love teaching people and inspiring people to do the same.

    2. I think everyone should take a look at your blog to read at least a post or two. People need to learn to empathise with women in such situations which they are unable to control.

Howdy , I write when I am half asleep at night so I am often making silly grammatical errors and typos ( which I do correct but that too I do when I am 3/4 th asleep ) but I hope my thoughts are not clouded by my lack of motivation to triple check my blog posts and at least one other individual , even if on the other side of this great big world of ours can relate however remotely to my writing. Don’t feel obligated to read my blog post till the very end because I might fall asleep reading yours.

  21. Hey folks! So I have just launched a fictional sci-fi series on WordPress called Magpie.

    It’s written similarly to comic books in that its released weekly and each story arc is self contained with the characters carrying over. Please do subscribe and share it and please comment!
