The place for feedback, advice, and friendly blogging chatter.
Have you just published a new post and are dying for some feedback? Are you redesigning your blog and could use some layout or design advice from your more seasoned peers?
The Community Pool is for peer feedback and advice. Looking for more specific information? Check out some of these resources:
- Learn, a series of step-by-step tutorials for those just starting out.
- All our posts on building an audience and growing your traffic.
- If you’re stuck for inspiration, here are our Daily Prompts and other ideas for writing topics.
- A roundup of posts on blogging etiquette.
Tap into the wisdom of The Daily Post blogging community and leave your question here in the comments. Others can then click through and offer input either on your site, or in the comments here (feel free to indicate which you’d prefer).
Looking for free, self-guided courses to help you get started with your blog (or revive a dormant one)? Check out our current offerings at Blogging U.
To help us make the Community Pool a productive space for discussion, here are some tips you might find useful:
- While you’re not required to, we encourage everyone who requests feedback to also reply to at least one or two other bloggers who need some help. Spread the love!
- The Community Pool comments section can get quite big — and starting duplicate threads doesn’t help. Thanks for not posting the same question more than once!
- If you’re looking for quality feedback, be as specific as you can. Questions about a particular post tend to draw more comments than ones about entire blogs. Questions about specific design elements are more likely to be answered than ones asking for general layout advice.
- We discourage leaving links without a more substantive message or question. These are often overlooked by other bloggers, and we frequently remove them to make the comment reading experience smoother.
- Please keep all comments civil and constructive. The idea is to have fun — it’s a pool, after all!
- To keep from losing your place in the comment thread while you visit others’ blogs, right-click on a link to open it in a new tab or window.
- If you haven’t looked at our Commenting Guidelines in a while, now might be a good time.
- No running on the deck.

Hi everyone, my blog this week is about how alot of Christians seem to think that Jesus wants them to be perfect, when he just wants you to meet with him, i hope you give this piece a read and thank you if you do! https://lukeharmerblog.wordpress.com/2016/07/02/jesus-doesnt-want-you-to-be-perfect/

Your post is a good reminder. Some people think they have to clean up their lives before they accept Him as Savior. None of us can ever be good enough. That’s the point. His offer is a gift, not something we earn. https://gracelead.co

But.
Loved many of your shots. Sadly all the camera info etc was lost on me, but I still really enjoyed the photos themselves, as well as the little comments you made about the different shots, your likes etc.
Good work, Keep it up 🙂
If you feel like a story, check out my blog about my African adventures. It might inspire you to take a whole other world of photos. (My photos are no where as brilliant as yours, but they help to tell the story) http://www.theafricaprojectblog.com

Hi everyone, and a happy 4th to my fellow Americans! 🙂 As you may know, I have a blog about baby names and character names. I’ve just written a post about patriotic names, and would love for people to read it. Link: https://wellinformednamer.wordpress.com/2016/07/04/july-4th-patriotic-names/
I would also much appreciate feedback on my updated “baby name index” page. I first published it last week, but I’ve changed it so there’s only one alphabetical list and not gender-separated lists. It’s no longer a sea of pink going halfway down the page, lol.

I checked it out, your blog looks greatand is a great place to find different names not only for babies, but also for characters in stories. I’ll certainly drop by more than once. 🙂 Yout your index page: I would find it helpful if you had links to the letters on top, tht would reduce the scrolling a bit. Otherwise: good stuff.

Thank you so much! 🙂 Links to the letters…very good idea. Does anyone know how I would do that?

Follow, follow, following! I always need new name ideas for my stories but it always takes so long to find the right sounding name.
Also, very informative about the meaning, ranking, and number of names.
Great job! 🙂

Hi everyone!
So this week I tried something different, inspired by Prejudice and Politics’ weekly prompt, I decided to write a caricature of bilateral relations between a personified India and Pakistan.
I’ve never done anything like this before, and I would love some feedback!

Hello everyone. Two months ago I started a new challenge: Project 10K on my blog. It is for writers and should help staying motivated. It gives you a badge every month when you stick to your project plans or write and/or edit at least 10K words that month. It’s explained in the post and a page that goes with it. A very happy and blessed 4th of July to each and every one of you! Just in case you missed any of my special All-American posts this past week, you can still check them out the second time around at http://www.j2w7.wordpress.com! Meanwhile, I am about to work on ideas for future posts as well as having finished drafts for the posts that I am about to publish on my ever-so-fun blog, so I strongly suggest that you keep checking Dream In Music often! You know, the month of July means something else besides the month of America’s birthday-It also means that we are halfway into 2016 already! Wow, time sure does fly, doesn’t it? And while I am on the subject of time flying by, I am already about to make some early planning stages for the Christmas holiday season, so, are you all this surprised, or what? Well, I’d better be getting back to whatever I am supposed to be doing, since this is going to be another productive week, even though short. So once again, I advise you to keep checking back on Dream In Music often at http://www.j2w7.wordpress.com, and remember to keep on dreamin’ in music… With 💟-JW🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽

First off, I love all things vintage and crafting, so I really liked what you put together. I used to dabble in jewelry making and other things from pieces of other jewelry. However, I noticed that both of the pictures posted seemed almost identical, so I wasn’t sure what the second picture was capturing that the first did not. Also, I think an extreme close up showing some of the jewelry detail would be beautiful! 😃

hello and ty for taking the time to visit! the same two pics are one with daylight and then other with flash i like the slight differ in the feel of both of them. i tried to get close ups of this one but it isnt easy with its so golden and sparkly no doubt im going to have to get myself a better camera! 🙂

Good point on photo difficulty. I get it. I sometimes struggle with lighting, flash, etc. Just a thought since vintage pieces are so detailed and beautiful.

and the thing is they really are so pretty im dying to be able to really show them there are tiny cherubs and as i tried to zoom or use no flash no matter what they small details are lost. i mean i am placing tiny swarovski crystals one at a time in some of the pieces with tweezers for sparkle and i really would love to show that too.

Hello bloggers,
I have been writing on my blog, The Universe According to Charlie, for a while now and I would love to get feedback on one of my recent posts, 8 Glorious Pictures of Corn. I absolutely love hearing what other bloggers think of what I write, negative or positive. Mainly it is a combination of thoughts and opinions and satirical comments. Thank you so much!

Okay, I’ve always been fascinated by corn (the look, not so much the taste) and even went into the corn to get our wedding pictures taken, so had to check out this post. You have an oddball, smart, and delightful sense of humor and I’m glad this not-so-patriotic writer was shown this holiday from a new light. God bless the corns.

Hello !everyone it’s going to be 3 week since I have started my blog, I’m not here to tell you that visit my blog but WordPress is a place where you tell your experience and I’m gonna tell you how I felt on WordPress. WordPress is filled with from every where and their blog is their gateway to mind but I don’t felt like I was in their mind but in their home watching everything silently, you will ask why I used the word home? When you go at someone’s home then they will treat you well but you don’t know what do they really think but on WordPress what you think is what you. I have found the good side of humanity and I have found the inner god in us. This experience is really amazing.
