What topics do you want to see?

Yesterday’s topic was lame. Even I didn’t like it.  It’s time to get some fresh ideas.

This post is a call for your  suggestions. What topic do you want to see 1000s of bloggers write about? Leave a comment.

We did this before, but I’ve used up most of the good ones. If you think I overlooked a great one of yours, give it another shot.

We’re getting close to the  2/3rds mark on our journey towards a year of posting every day (or week, or less than a week but more than you would otherwise). Hang in there. We’re almost on the home stretch.

    2. Congrats on being featured on The Daily Post. Btw, there’s a Twitter sized fiction story by @VeryShortStory. Send him a noun and he’ll use the ones that inspire him in a story.

      As a topic suggestion here on The Daily Post, with the idea of @VeryShortStory, let’s try to choose a noun and use it as an inspiration for a 140 characters story.

  2. Could you do some other work/ job? If so, what job would be interesting to you? Personally, I would like to try my hand at “Stand Up Comedy”.

    Another subject could be: Could you survive if placed in the middle of a jungle with only a pocket knife and one days worth of food and water? How long can you survive? one week, one month, a year? Manage to start your own Utopia?

  6. I was 11 years old and my grandmother said, “you’re never going to have a boyfriend if you keep biting you finger nails.”

    My first goal was to quit biting my nails…. I no longer bite my nails and my boyfriend bites his. Ha ha ha! Good topic!

  9. Last time, The Daily Post suggested (Plinky.com to be precise) to write a haiku.

    Using this haiku idea (5-7-5 measurement) and combining the 140 character limit of Twitter, try to choose any specific topic (eg. Blogging, Anger) then write a haiku using only 140 characters.

    Example:

    Blogging

    Write something you know
    Even the things you don’t know
    Post it in the web

  15. Do a review 🙂 make it professional with all the right terminology, but do it with anything from a garden rake to a pair of slippers, maybe even a cardboard box! XD haha just think: ‘Comes with extra durable duct tape bonding on the bottom, sides and….. wait for it… top!’ 🙂

  16. Since summer is almost over, how about:
    Back to School. This could address any of the following:
    – a tribute to a memorable teacher
    – thinking back to your school days, which life lesson(s) that you have learned since then do you wish you could have known back then?
    – if you are still going to school, what are you most looking forward to in the new year? the least favourite?
    – whether you are in school or not, what is the most important lesson you have learned in the last year?
    – what is your learning style? by doing? on your own? with others? in a formal setting?
    – what is one thing you have always wanted to learn but just haven’t gotten around to it? what is keeping you from it?
    – what is one of the most useless lessons/things/ideas you have learned that you have simply not forgotten?

    -Make a list of 10 things you could not live without. (e.g. cell, iPad, car)
    -If you were to make a show with all of your favorite actors who would be in it? Tell us about the show, would it be comedy, horror, drama?
    -Take 1 picture everyday for an entire week (including the Weekly Photo Challenge). Make it a wordless week.

  25. I was inspired by quirky junk email that was advertising a home business scam. I thought that the unfinished sentences presented a storytelling opportunity. Here’s the entire email. Fill in the blanks to turn junk mail into a compelling story.

    I told him where I was going, and he hurried me out, but as I strong nature such as his, a nature which enabled him by our dear_______________

  27. What is a characteristic / trait / attribute that you used to have but feel that you no longer do? What caused the change? Was it a good change or a bad change?
