I’m not 100% familiar with Paul Zizka’s techniques and workflows. Night photography is one of his specialties (he teaches sold-out workshops). I’d suggest visiting his his site and poke around to learn more about his processes.

The second image with the circles is a long exposure… set the camera up on a tripod and leave the shutter open for an hour or 2 and the result are these star trails in the sky.

Hello, how does one go about getting their blog featured in a promotion like this? Thank you so much! IntuitionMatters.org I also have this one which I need to get more active on MaureenKeefePhotography.com. I got all hung up when I was getting glitches from deleting duplicate photos. I submitted questions and never heard back. A friend took a class on web page creation through wordpress and she was unable to assist me either. Thank you so much!Maureen Keefe

I recommend posting questions in the support forums when you experience glitches or technical issues — that’s a good place you can get answers from a mix of people (staff and volunteers).
We occasionally publish roundups like these, highlighting a select number of blogs in various categories. We search for great blogs and websites regularly and are always on the lookout for ways to feature standout users.
