Blaze credits are a virtual currency you can use to pay to advertise your content with Blaze. This guide will show you how to use Blaze credits.
Use Blaze credits to pay for a Blaze advertising campaign on WordPress.com.
One Blaze credit is equal to one U.S. dollar.
Blaze credits expire after 12 months if not used and cannot be reissued.
When using Blaze, you must comply with our Advertising Policy and Terms of Service.
To check how many Blaze credits your account has, take the following steps:
- Visit your site’s dashboard.
- Navigate to Tools → Advertising.
- If available, your Blaze credits balance will be shown in the top right corner:
If nothing is shown here, your account does not currently have Blaze credits.
If you have Blaze credits in your account, they will be automatically applied to any campaign with outstanding value. You will be required to provide a card to create a campaign, but Blaze credits will always be used first before charging your card. If the Blaze Credit balance does not cover the entire order, any outstanding balance will be taken from your provided card.
It is not possible to choose which campaign to apply Blaze credits to. They will be deducted on a first-come, first-served basis and applied to the total order value rather than a specific campaign.
The campaign billing cycle is every 7 days, so your Blaze Credits will be deducted at this point, not at the time of campaign creation.
Blaze credits cannot be redeemed for any other WordPress.com products or services. Blaze credits cannot be converted to cash.
