Very handy material, which I probably should have read before I launched my site. I think now I have to go back and re do all of my images, as very few of them have any of the information noted as helpful or useful for SEO. Also, I agree with the person who said that the Redirects and Structured Data parts could have been explained more thoroughly. I can’t see why I’d use a Redirect, but I took notes anyway, just in case. Thanks for providing this material – for free!

So glad the information was helpful! Regarding going back to re-do all your images, my recommendation is to pick away at it and focus on your most important content. Also, don’t worry about renaming the files and re-uploading them. Just update the Title field and add the alt-text on existing images.
Optimizing images is a good practice, but balance your time. It’s not a single silver bullet for SEO, it’s another piece of the puzzle. So it’s not necessarily an efficient use of time to completely re-do all images, just add the steps as part of your process moving forward 😊
Thank you also for the feedback on the Redirects and Structured Data! The use of redirects are more of a per use case situation, such as if you need to change the slug on a particular piece of content, or if you delete a published piece. They can be handy if you find that you’re getting 404 errors because of a change, then that’s a good time to setup a redirect to an appropriate replacement piece of content.

Very detailed and helpful. I knew about some of SEO, but not how it works and/or how it can benefit in much depth. But overall, I learned something new and appreciate you to take the time to put this in a more perspective way.
