The video tutorials included below are found in the Tutorials section of the WordPress.org Learn↗︎ site. This is also a good moment to raise awareness of the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. If you haven’t reviewed it yet, we recommend our WordPress Introduction resource as it will clear up any confusion or misconceptions about the differences.

While WordPress.com is a managed host for WordPress sites, some of the features and user interface looks and works a bit differently from the core WordPress software. However, even when there are some visual differences, the base functionality of many blocks and features do work the same.

We’ve handpicked a selection of these videos for your convenience, that we feel best compliments your WordPress.com site, but you’re welcome browse through the WordPress.org Learn site to find others. The videos below are mini-tutorials and as a result tend to be a bit longer than our quick clips above.

In some videos, you may notice that many of the admin pages look different from the default WordPress.com admin pages. But you can easily display the same view in WordPress.com by clicking the View tab in the top right corner and selecting Classic View. You can switch back to the WordPress.com display by choosing Default View.
