Bio
Despite the odds (two-pack-a-day smoker, two-beer-a-day drinker, non-anything-leafy-green eater, mayo-on-everything condimenter) I continue to breathe. Unexpected, truly. Thought I'd be done and dusted by 68 and I'm pushing 74. Remarkable!
What else can I say? Six amazing grandchildren: three boys and three girls aged from 9 to 28 and born to the families of three amazing children. One complex (and deceased) husband who continues to poke me from the beyond with memories of great times and other times as well. Perhaps as many as five lovers over the thirty-two years since late husband's death -- not a huge number but many remain big in my heart. One Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Creative Writing, CSU Sacramento, CA, circa 1996. A handful of placques and awards for narratives written, some true, some false. One book of poetry published. One novel published. Twelve years of living south of the border in Baja California, Mexico. Decades of laughter. Decades of regret. Decades of wonderment, disappointment, pleasure and delight.
hmm ... all for the moment.
ah! add to the listing above a plethora of blogs on WordPress, none of which I am good at maneuvering through or keeping up to date. Even the WordPress Growth Summit (bought and paid for but unattended) is evidence of my lack of perseverance. There you have it. Catch, as catch can.
