WPZOOM INSTAGRAM WIDGET

    Hi!

    I’ve recently installed an Instagram widget on my free Foodica theme website.
    The widget only pulls out my Instagram images and not my reels or videos (even if I shared these on my feed) – is there a way to display my feed exactly how it looks on Instagram (in other words, including all images, reels, and videos)?

    Is there an alternative widget that you know of that is able to display the entire feed?

    I am so sorry for confusing wordpress.com with wordpress.org, you are right I have posted my query on the wrong forum. Thanks so much for still replying to my query, that was very kind.

    Hi there,

    No need to apologise about confusing the WordPress versions. It happens all the time :)

    That said, the WordPress.org forums are not the right place to go either in this case. Those forums only provide support for the WordPress software itself, not for features added by plugins. And the WordPress software does not come with an Instagram widget built in – if you have an Instagram widget on your site, a plugin is adding it. In this case that’s the WPZOOM Social Feed Widget

    (P.S., based on that plugin’s description page, it only displays the 12 most recent photos from your feed. In other words, it doesn’t display galleries or videos. The Instagram widget we offer on WordPress.com has the same limitation, so I’m going to guess this is a restriction on Instagram’s own end – the widget can only show items from the feed that’s available via Instagram’s API, and if the API only gives access to image posts, that’s all the widget will be able to display. But the support team for that plugin will be able to confirm this for you.)
