WP-Admin All Pages link gone from admin menu

  • In the WP-Admin admin menu, the link to All Pages has been there until very recently, because I tend to use it almost daily. As of today that link has been changed to the My Pages version of All Pages. Conversely, the WP-Admin All Posts link remains as before in the same admin menu.

The link that I expect is

    https://site URL/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=page

Instead, the link available at the location described above is

    https://wordpress.com/pages/site URL

Please restore the proper All Pages link to the WP-Admin admin menu.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hey @musicdoc1 – when I log in and head to my WP Admin, I see All Pages at the URL you mentioned /wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=page.

If somehow it flipped for you to the “Default view” aka WordPress.com dashboard page, you can use the “Screen Options” tab in the upper right corner of your browser screen to change it back to “Classic view”. (temp screenshot)

    Hope that helps.

  • @justjennifer,

Hey, thanks! Actually, I’d tried that, and it hadn’t worked. But after getting your message I finally figured out that it was necessary to turn off redirect script in my browser temporarily in order for the switch to work properly. Thanks for the help, and Happy Holidays. : )

  • Hooray! 🎉

Glad to help. :) Happy holidays to you, too!
