WordPress blog badge for your blog
-
Not sure where to put this one so I’m putting it in this category. I see the WordPress badges they have. Not sure how to get one but I’m really looking for a WordPress badge that you can click on and go right to my blog as Facebook and others have. So I can take this with me to other websites I have and provide a quick click to go to my WordPress blogs.
Is there such a thing and where is it?Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I had a look for you and there’s this:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpress-logos/
However, as far as I can see, that’s just the logo, not an active link, so you’d have to turn it into one.
The way that I do image links is to do them as though I were going to put them in a post, using the visual editor, then I click the HTML tab and grab the code from there. That way you don’t need to actually write any code! (I learn this coding stuff then it all goes clean out of my head, so I use shortcuts wherever I can).
Here’s how to do an image link in a post:

By the by and completely off topic, I really like your weebly site! :)

thanks absurdoldbird. This is valuable and very much appreciated. Thanks for the compliment on the Weebly site. They have a great thing there for people like me that don’t know much. It’s failry simple and their support staff is quick. It’s just that no one ever sees it.
That site is the only site that has ever worked for me but little good it does because it’s just a website and you post a page and it just sits there and goes nowhere. It can’t be posted to “networkedblogs” on Facebook. It can’t be entered into any blog advertising site. It just sits there and goes no where. Looks OK but no one ever sees it.
I have had blogs deleted, blogs run into troubles that couldn’t be resolved and had to delete myself and start over. The Facebook page I have will never work right in the whole year I’ve had it. It doesn’t post to subscribers feeds like it should so no one ever knows when I post. The list goes on. The only thing that ever worked is the only thing not designed to go anywhere anyway!
Now I’m with WP and it seems the same thing is happening all over again. It just seems like it will never get done and that is why I’m a little anxious to get something, anything to happen.

There’s also a “grab my button” image code generator that devblog made for us WordPress.com bloggers. You can create a blog badge for your own blog and provide the code to other WordPress.com bloggers eg. subscribers for display in their sidebars.

yeah TT I was just going to ask about that because I saw it on a blog here. Thanks.
I tried your method bird and it didn’t work at tumblr.
here’s the code:
[caption id="attachment_154" align="alignleft" width="150" caption="We are all but guests of this Poetic Sojourn"]<img class=”size-thumbnail wp-image-154 ” title=”l_b66aea3b2a5405d1a10c2b4dc510bbf0″ src=”http://psychpoet.files.wordpress.com/2012/02/l_b66aea3b2a5405d1a10c2b4dc510bbf0.jpg?w=150″ alt=”” width=”150″ height=”116″ />[/caption]

Here’s a link to one that will operate on Blogger blogs and probably on Tumblr blogs too > http://bloggingwithsuccess.net/grab-button-advertise-blog/ -

I’m having trouble with tumblr’s support email. I send something to them and I get one of those kicked back undeliverable messages with a note saying “my account has been deleted”. Which it obviously hasn’t.
I’m telling you TT the longer you know me and the more the details come out over time you will see what I’ve been going though. It’s really uncanny.

did the button grab on my WP site. works like a champ. Thanks TT.
code in case you’re interested.
<div align=”center”><img src=”http://i.imgur.com/4jkYB.jpg” alt=”Poetic Sojourn” style=”border:none;” /></div>

I had the wrong idea for carrying it to tumblr. I tried to paste the html for the “grab my button” instead of the code within in the button to grab. So I did that and found that the WB automatically reduced the image to thumbnail size which blew it up on tumblr so I had to go back and do it again with a newly adjusted thumbnail sized pic for tumblr.
works fine now. Thanks again TT
