Word Press (wp-login) page not loading – JetPack issue?

  • Hi,

    I can’t access my wordpress page to edit/post/look at stats/upgrade installs etc.

    The page is blank after appearing to load. I’m not sure if this is a jetpack issue?

    I’ve tried on multiple browsers. And the word press App won’t let me save drafts, upload images to drafts.

    Any advice appreciated

    Your website does not look like it is hosted on WordPress.com.
    We’re able to help only with websites hosted on WordPress.com.

    To clear up any confusion, there are 2 versions of WordPress. WordPress.com is a managed environment different from using the open source WordPress installation. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two, different entities.

    You might check in with your host to see if there’s an error log you could look at for more information. Or, you could look in this forum; perhaps someone there has experienced something similar:

    I am using WordPress.com being hosted through go daddy. I’ll check with them to see if there’s a problem

    You are not using WordPress.com. If your site is hosted through GoDaddy you are using the open source WordPress software.

    The Jetpack plugin on your site allows you manage your site via the WordPress.com interface, but your site is not built using WordPress.com.

    If that interface is not loading correctly for you it can either indicate a problem with your browser, or that Jetpack is having trouble connecting to your site’s servers. The fact that you also mention having problems with the mobile app tells me it’s most likely the latter, and the Jetpack debugger seems to confirm that:

    Jetpack

    Please log into your site’s dashboard and disconnect and reconnect Jetpack.

    If that doesn’t work, it might be another plugin or your theme that’s not compatible. To test for that, please disable all plugins except Jetpack and switch to a default theme like Twenty-Sixteen and see if that helps. Then reactivate things one at a time until it breaks again to find the cause.

    I can’t even load my dashboard, I get a blank page. So I’ll contact jet pack and see if they can help

  • As in your WP-Admin dashboard at http://www.theforensiccyclist.com/wp-admin?

    That has absolutely nothing to do with Jetpack, so if you can’t load that it points to an issue at your hosting provider instead.
