WIDGETS

  • Estoy utilizando widgets de imagen en la parte de abajo y me ocupan mucho sitio, se colocan uno debajo de otro, me gustaria saber si se puede reducir su tamaño para que no se coloquen uno debajo de otro.

  • Hello @Whitebeds2a,

    Thanks for writing in!

    If you want to reduce the size of your image from image widget.

    Click on Appearance > Customize > Widget > Select the image or add a new one then click on edit.

    You’ll be able to resize the image from there.

  • @liskarkoski,

    The Google translation of fuentesblancas2a’s support request is

    I am using image widgets at the bottom and they take up a lot of space, they are placed one below the other, I would like to know if they can be reduced in size so that they are not placed one below the other.

    My interpretation of this is that she’d like a series of widgets to display horizontally in the footer, perhaps even on a small screen. In my experience, reducing the size of an image in an image widget typically has no effect upon the width of the widget area, nor does it enable one to transform a stack of widgets into a horizontal row of them. Are there some WordPress.com themes where that’s not the case?

  • Good catch @musicdoc1 !

    @fuentesblancas2a
    – it looks like you are using the Stowe theme. This theme is designed to stack footer widgets on top of each other, regardless of their size. I have an idea.

    The Dara theme is very similar in design and offers three horizontal footer widget areas: https://wordpress.com/themes/dara

    Here is an example of the Dara demo site Contact page. Notice the three footer areas at the bottom: https://darademo.wordpress.com/contact/

    Would something like this work for you?
