Why can't I import from my .xml file from posterous – I get an error message?

When I try to import from posterous, I get an error message saying that my .xml file is not recognised. Can you help?

You cannot upload a zip file. Posterous sends you a .zip file which you need to open to retrieve the files inside. Per the guide at http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/import-from-posterous/ you’ll need to upload the wordpress_export_1.xml file, not the one you tried to import. I have followed the above and used the http://www.7-zip.org. My file I am trying to upload is unzipped and called “wordpress_export_1.xml” (It is 407kb in size).
When I try upload this as an import I get the above error – saying it is not an .xml file.
I will try the other browser you suggest and see if it helps. -

Hi timethief, just to let you know. Google Chrome as a browser let me upload. Thanks for your advise. I will wait and see the results of the import. I appreciate your help.
