    Hi there, thanks for clarifying.
    After taking a closer look at your records I see that the site you renamed your blog from nonsensorka70.wordpress.com to agakubiksliczniak.wordpress.com. As mentioned in our support docs, when you change the address of your site this is permanent. It is not possible to switch back to the old address, and it is not possible to use it for a new site under your account.

    When you change your site address, we warn you of this, like you see in the example here:

    We are not able to restore nonsensorka70.wordpress.com to your account, but if you wish you could consider registering the custom domain nonsensorka70.com, which I see is available. You can add a domain for free by choosing the yearly (not monthly) option of any of our plans shown here:

    Hi again,

    As mentioned, the name change is permanent and cannot be undone. Once the site address is removed from our system, staff is not able to reactivate it, and it is not possible to set up a redirection to another URL.

    This is why we display several warning messages before you confirm the site address change. Once it’s done there is no way to go back.

    I don’t remember any warning messages… :( If there were, I would definitely reacted to them…
    If there is no other option, I will ask for this non-standard domain – can it be called nonsensorka.com? Without the number 70?
    Should I register this domain on my own or will you help me? I understand that I will then have two domains that can be redirected to each other?

    Hi @agakubiksliczniak, I understand. If you want to register the domain and connect it with this new address, you have two options.

    • With a paid plan, you can buy and make nonsensorka.com your primary address, and the free address will automatically redirect to it. And if you buy an annual plan, the registration fee is waived the first year. The Personal Plan would work nicely:
    • OR! If you only want to register the domain, you can do that too, and have it automatically redirect to your site. You can do that here.

    Just note this will send agakubiksliczniak.wordpress.com to the new address; the old address is unavailable.

    Are the conditions for registering such a domain and redirecting/connecting to the address agakubiksliniak.wordpress.com the same? So a personal plan?

    If you wish you can register nonsensorka.blog and direct traffic to agakubiksliczniak.wordpress.com. However, when people land on the site, it will not show nonsensorka.blog as the address. You can do that here: https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/agakubiksliczniak.wordpress.com

    If you prefer to change the address of your site so it appears as nonsensorka.blog for everyone (including Google) then for that you will need our Personal Plan. That plan (as with any of our plans) will allow you to set a custom address. In addition it will turn off the ads we show on free sites to help cover our hosting costs.
