Twenty Seventeen Header not showing full image
-
On pages that are not the main page, it’s as if the header image wasn’t cut off and went down over part of the page but is transparent.
If you go to another page and try and click on a link or button a bit under the header you can’t.

Ah, ok, thanks for the clarification. Add this to the bottom of your custom CSS and from my testing it fixes the issue.
.custom-header { overflow: hidden; }
Let me know if you find any places it does not.

Hello, I used the codes above and they worked perfectly on http://www.ggorlandiphotography.com.
Thanks

I’m experiencing the same problem as tecscampdev. Using the code above from both tecscampdev and thesacredpath helped a great deal, but I’m unable to get rid of the gray band beneath the header image.
Using
.custom-header {
overflow: hidden;
}
at the bottom of my child css helped, but only a little. The gray band is larger on the home page than elsewhere. The site, in early development, is http://pilgrimwatch.org/wp/Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Hi @davidagnew384957074, it looks like you are using WordPress but you are not hosted here at WordPress.com. For self-hosted WordPress sites such as yours using Twenty Seventeen, there is a dedicated support forum at WordPress.org where you can post your questions.
The differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org.
I did take a quick look at your site and this custom CSS should do the trick for you though.
.custom-header-media::before { background: none; filter: none; }
