Twenty Fourteen – Moving left sidebar to the right
-
Hello,
What I’m trying to achieve is pretty simple to describe but without the proper css knowledge, it’s a little bit out of my range.
While using the Twenty Fourteen theme (I’ve already created a child theme), I’m trying to move the whole left sidebar to the right and put the site content to the left.
Basically, I’m just trying to switch both areas positions (and remove the “site-description” which won’t be needed since it won’t be positioned under the “site-title” anymore).
If somebody can help me achieve that, I’ll really appreciate it.
Here is the website concerned : https://www.digitalcine.fr/
Thanks a lot.
Best regards,
Stephane. -

https://codex.wordpress.org/CSSI’ve checked the source code on your website a bit. I was able to move the content in the nav bar from left to right by setting the “Float” element from left to right for id #secondary. There are more to be done but I’m sure the community at WordPress.org could help you out. Good luck.

@stephaneargentin, there is a dedicated Twenty Fourteen support forum at WordPress.org where you can post your questions.
This would be something that is best done by creating a Child Theme and then modifying the HTML/PHP script files rather than trying to do it with CSS alone. There will be some CSS changes you will likely have to make so that it looks right on the opposite side of the theme.
