Travel Channel

    Hi people of wordpress,
    as a lot of users travel around the world why don’t you install something like a travel channel ?
    People who travel to a certain place, can ask if someone is interested to show around the City etc.
    As I am interested in photography, I would like to meet people to show me their hometown with, but also without the tourist stuff.
    But I am sure as a lot of the bloggers are traveling around the world, they are also interested to meet other blogger and learn from them.
    Please think about it.

    Why the heck do we need a channel to communicate in when there are numerous bloggers with travel blogs would love to have more visitors to their blogs and more comments on their posts? I don’t get why anyone would think that any feature that takes us away from communicating on blogs is useful at all. There are numerous social networks we can chat in and most of us have vibrant offline lives and jobs. As we are hobby bloggers with limited time to spend online our free time is best spent on identifying blogs with similar content and commenting meaningfully on the posts in them.

    Why are you so rude ????
    It was only a suggestion. BTW I am also a hobby blogger with a job and an offline live. I thought it might be o.k. to bring people together with the same interest. But don’t worry I will not make any suggestions anymore, because you really pissed me off.
    Thanks to wordpress so far, but after receiving this kind of answer I will looking for another blogging community !

    I was not rude. I am one person who expressed my dissenting opinion in this non-censored free speech environment. If you expect that everyone to agree with you here or in any other blogging community then that’s clearly not a realistic expectation.

    I don’t want that everybody agrees, but if you read your post again, you surely find it is not very polite and in my opinion it is RUDE !
    I applogies that english is not my native language, but maybe you can better write in german, so that I am able to understand the small nuance between opinion and rude.
