Transfer Domain

    Hi, I have been asked to assist managing a web site and domain name fir a local organisation who already have a web page which is constructed and hosted by WordPress but by another organisation. I know I will need to upgrade my account to say a Business one but can I then transfer the domain and web page to me or do I need to open a new WordPress account to manage this new one? Thanks for your help.

    Hi there,

    So there is a website and domain that you managing for a organization hosted elsewhere and you are wanting to have it hosted here? You do not need to create a new WordPress.com account since you already have one. You can move the site and transfer the domain to your current account and purchase a paid plan.
