  Hi,

  I noticed a few days ago that my ‘Total views of posts on your blog’ no longer tallied with the ‘__ views today’ on the stats page. They’ve always been identical, i.e. if the total views of posts was 40, the views today would also be 40. Which makes sense.

  Now the ‘views today’ total is usually less than the ‘total views of posts’. I’ve noticed that one of my referrers is now consistently ‘WordPress.com’, and that the number of referrals from WordPress plus the ‘total views of posts’ equals the ‘views today’.

  How can the WordPress homepage be referring people to my blog when there’s no link to it anywhere? And why don’t the referrals from WordPress count as views to the homepage?
