Special characters must be escaped

    Hello
    Every time I want to add a html banner, it says that special characters must be escaped.
    I got this error many times ago and I don t know what to do!
    What is the error? Because it cannot be the html, as it’s been used on other blogs

    Hi there,

    This error usually means that your HTML code is not correct in some way. For example, you might be missing = somewhere.

    Can you post the code here so we can help you find the error?

    Can you confirm which site you are working on? If you are trying to add the HTML banner to andrakat.com, please post to the WordPress.org support forums for advice as it is a WordPress.org site hosted by GoDaddy:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

    If you are working on andrakat.wordpress.com, can you do as @bindlegirl suggested and send the code you are trying to use? It can be added between code tags — there should be a button at the top of the field where you enter your reply here.
