Sobe theme – can't edit in wp-admin

    Hello, I’m setting up a new website using the Sobe theme, and every time I try to publish or update a new page using the wp-admin screen I often get an error message (in Chrome) ‘ERR_SPDY_PROTOCOL_ERROR’ – page not found, or in IE ‘Connection lost. Saving has been disabled until you’re reconnected. We’re backing up this post in your browser, just in case’ and the page doesn’t get published.

    I can edit and add pages using the wordpress.com editor but prefer the wp-admin ones. Is this a problem with this theme or a current fault with the WordPress.com system? I want to know whether I can continue using this theme, as I’ve never had this problem with WordPress.com before.

    I’m using Windows 10, and have tried in Opera, Chrome and IE. I’ve tried this in 2 separate WordPress sites and have experienced the same problem.

    This type of protocol error doesn’t sound theme-related. You can try following some of the troubleshooting steps here and see if they help:
