Slideshow Size
-
Is there any way to make my slideshow larger through CSS? I am using the twenty eleven theme and I want my slideshow to take up most of my page. Is there any way to do this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I saw that there was no way to change this but that was from a year old forum post so I am hoping that has changed.

Ah ok. Thank you for the reply. Do you know of any themes that show the slideshow larger than others? If not its ok. Just trying to find a place to start looking.
Thanks again

I am checking it out right now and I really like it. This might be a dumb question but if I make the images larger will they take up more space in the slideshow box? Right now it is a lot of black box and a little picture.

Well, you actually can adjust the slideshow size, but the images themselves are a hardcoded value. What this means is that if you stretch the images too much, they will look pixelated and low quality. That said, here is some CSS you can try out to stretch out the images in your current setup (Bold News with an embedded slideshow) to be full width:
max-height: 500px !important; } body div.slideshow-window div.slideshow-slide img, .slideshow-slide-caption { width: 940px !important; } body div.slideshow-window div.slideshow-slide { width: auto !important; height: auto !important; } .slideshow-window { background-color: transparent; border: none; } .slideshow-controls { bottom: -60px; }
