Slide Show Help Needed

    My slide show images are being cut off on the bottom. Is there documentation or directions on sizing for a slide show for the Linen theme? I asked the question on the Linen forum and they sent me here. I tried to look in the Support documents and forums.

    I’m afraid I don’t have any iDevice to view your Gallery slideshow here: http://whisperingwoodsgallery.com/needlework-framing/ but when viewing the slideshow on my PC in Chrome, all the images were loading and displaying correctly.

    One thing is that when you upload images for display you should try to resize them for your theme’s content container, which means no larger than the dimensions listed at the bottom of the Linen Showcase page. https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/linen/

    If you want a little bit larger, then the longest dimension (height or width) should be around 1024 pixels. This has three advantages:

    1. Page loading time (a hot topic)
    2. Optimizing your storage space
    3. Image clarity

    The specific image that you’ve shown in your above attachment page seems to be one of the largest images dimension-wise in that slideshow. Maybe try resizing it and then see what happens.
