Site Notices

  • So on WordPress in the ‘Users‘ menu there is this link titled ‘Site Notices‘.

I am noticing that the notices are not shown to the members of the community, only to moderators and admin —- Is this supposed to be like this?

Seeing how this feature ‘Site Notices’ is in the ‘Users’ menu it seems logical to me it would reach all members.

—> On members profile, this does not show up.

—-> On moderators and Admins profiles, this shows up.

Can I make it visible to all?

    Thx

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Also, when I add the ‘Sitewide Notices’ block to a page it shows an error message that reads:

Preview unavailable
    You dismissed the sitewide notice.

So seemingly I (or a plugin?) have dismissed the sitewide notice feature —– how do I turn it back on?

    Hoping for assistance, Angelina
