‘Share this:’ buttons – Is it possible to add a button for Signal messenger?

    Below each blog post it is possible in WordPress.com to have a set of Share buttons, to share the blog post via Email, Print, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, Tumble, Twitter, Press This and WhatsApp. But there is no button to share a WordPress.com blog post via Signal messenger, which is a popular and very secure social media app used by many people (including myself). It would be great if WordPress.com developers would add a Signal share button to the list.

    Hello –

    Thanks for the suggestion. I have created a report for our developer team asking them about this option. We don’t have any other requests on file.

    I think this is a great idea! I’ve been using Signal amongst family and friends for a couple of years and the user base is growing daily. A share to Signal button would be really good to have. Thanks.
