Separate Blog from Homepage and prevent Blog from showing full post
-
Hi
I know this is probably dealt with somewhere else here, but I just have no time (due to workload) to endlessly browse topics and posts. So, someone will either wish to drop me a quick functional answer – if so, I appreciate – if not, patience, that’s just life. I’ll eventually find out.
I want to prevent my homepage from becoming Blog as soon as the page is reloaded or you return to it, after visiting some other page from the menu.
I also want all posts in the Blog to show up partially, not fully, by default, instead of manually adding a “read more” tag to each and every one of them.
I greatly thank anyone who is willing to provide the short and dry functional answer to this problem.
And thanks for the patience in reading this.

In your menu, you currently have “Home” set to https://estheticsandarts.wordpress.com/blog-2/ so first I recommend correcting that so it directs to https://estheticsandarts.wordpress.com/ instead following the steps at https://wordpress.com/support/menus/
Next, your theme displays full posts, but you do have two options:
1. Split all of the posts with the More block, which will create a “read more” link: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/more-block/
2. Instead of utilizing your theme’s blog page, use a normal static page and add the Blog Posts block, which will give you more control: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/blog-posts-block/
