Hi there!
It looks like the domain is registered on a different WordPress.com account. I sent an email to the email address used on that account with a link to pay for the domain redemption and renewal. Please check your inbox and reply there after paying the fee.
Note that the email address connected to the WordPress.com account that owns the domain is not connected to the domain that expired, so you should receive the email. If you’re unable to locate the email or log into the other account, please fill out the account recovery form here.
Our team will get back to you via email to help you log into the correct WordPress.com account or change the email address on the account if you no longer have access to it.
Feel free to let us know if you have more questions.

Your domain expired more than 30 days ago and is in redemption. Unfortunately, the registrar is going to charge you more than the regular renewal rate to renew it

@elevatewebsitedevelopment I spoke to Wild West Domains for an hour and they said that it’s sitting with WP and they can’t do anything?? Is this incorrect?
-
@aisajib I followed the prompts and clicked the first link to recover my account. This is the message I received “Sorry but the website you gave does not exist on WordPress.com. Is it a self-hosted WordPress.org website?” – can you help me please?
-
@aisajib… I’m having a mild panic…
I’ve had this website with Worpdress for over 11 years. I am uncertain if it’s a wordpress.com. or a wordpress.org. I have separate hosting, via Bluehost – who I spoke to first and they said it was a domain issue and they couldnt do anything. I spoke to the domain owner for a lengthy time and they said that it was an issue with WordPress (but didnt communicate .org or .com) and they couldnt do anything. My theme was pruchased through Flothemes and added to the WordPress site via the wp-admin backend. My site IS on wordpress but I am lost for what to do now?
The link to recover my account that you gave me states it’s not a wordpress.com site. I’ve paid my domain, I’ve done ALL the things that have been requested of me, and as yet I am still no further in ascertaining what the issue is.
When I did a check for .org or .com (wordpress) at this url https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/captarphoto.com it comes back with Provider UNKNOWN.
I am totally lost here please can you help?
Fingers crossed,
Katie.

Your nameservers point to bluehost
ns1.bluehost.COM.
ns2.bluehost.COM.So it looks like your domain is registered through Wildwest but they are also a reseller so you may have initially registered the domain through a reseller of theirs (I have no way of figuring that out for you) and your website is hosted by bluehost.com

@elevatewebsitedevelopment – Just a heads-up, Wild West Domains is our domain registrar, meaning the domain in question is registered here at WordPress.com. Please remember this for future reference.
@katie398473323 – As mentioned earlier, you’re currently logged into an account that doesn’t own the domain. Therefore, we’re unable to assist you with the domain without proof of ownership. Since you should have transaction IDs from past renewals, please fill out the form below with that information.
https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
Our Account Recovery team will then help you over email to regain access to the account and recover your domain from redemption. As this issue can’t be resolved in the public support forums, please complete the form as soon as possible.
I hope this clears things up! Let us know if you have any further questions.
