  I like the recent comments widget, but I would like to make it show a portion of the person’s actual comment on the main page, instead of (or in addition to) the name of the post they commented on. If you look at the recent comments function of this site: http://www.ctlocalpolitics.net, you’ll get an idea of what I mean. I would like readers of the main page of my site to be able to see what people are talking about in comments, not just the fact that they are talking.
