Positioning search menu with CSS for IE
-
I am using the silver light theme (http://themes.wordpress.net/columns/2-columns/4366/silver-light-01/) on my webpage (woodshopped.com) and am trying to add the search bar to the same black bar as the nav menu. I got it working great in fire fox, but in IE the nave buttons and search bar aren’t right above the white area. The css that I am using for the search bar is:
#search{
float:right;
}
I think I am missing something in the CSS, but I can’t figure it out. Any help in getting this to look right would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help. -
IE is a nightmare. But try adding a set width on the searchbar.
width: xxpx;
or something like that.. -

well..because IE is awful. Make sure you have IE 7, I hear it is a bit better at this than 6.
Give us a link to your blog please. -
I got it to work. Here is my site: http://www.woodshopped.com. There were some theme issues and css issues that I ironed out. Thanks for your help.

FYI if that is your site, you’re in the wrong support forum. In the future, you’ll want to pose your questions over at http://wordpress.org/support as we use different software here.
