Poorly Worded Credit Card Charges Lead to Annoyance and Frustration

  • Please fix your credit card processing methodologies.

First of all, PollDaddy is NOW CrowdSignal – although this name change is not on your Why Was I Charged? page.

Secondly, there was only a cryptic CROWDSI SAN FRANCISCO on the actual charge description itself which gave neither the credit card company nor myself enough information to enable me to figure why $200 had been charged to me.

This is a mess that involved Amex and an innocent merchant CrowdSigns since that was the closest I could get in Google trying to do a search for CROWDSI SAN FRANCISCO.

Please review how you charge customers to help us out with more and better details.

    Thanks.

  • Hi blackpresswebeditor,

Sorry to hear you’ve had trouble with this but thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. I’ll pass it along to the team so they can review how that information is displayed on the form and statements :)
