Pilcrow Width CSS, novice. Help!
-
I just upgraded, and want to make my content wider overall. I tried doing some CSS editing for Pilcrow I found on these forums, but it doesn’t appear to be working. Ideally I would like my content to cover most of the page.
Help? I’m very new to CSS editing.

Hi Coleen,
try this in your custom design:#wrapper { margin: 0 auto; max-width: 100%; } .two-column #container { max-width: 100%; }
you can play afterwards with the percentages to your likings.

@cristovaov, and @coleenmonroe, The pilcrow header is 990px wide, and the theme adjusts for browser window width, so I would suggest one change to @cristovaov’s code and limit #wrapper to 1080px instead of 100% (see below). That will keep the responsive nature of the theme and header intact.
#wrapper { max-width: 1080px; } .two-column #container { max-width: 100%; }
