pdf uploads first page only
-
I am trying to upload some pdfs of past newsletters for my organization. When I go through the process & view the uploads, only the first page of a multi-page document appears. I’ve never had this problem on any of my blogs before. Please help!

We need a link to the blog please, and have you viewed the PDF’s on your computer to see if they show all pages (the ones you uploaded)?

It’s not much of a blog – we’re just starting out. Here’s the link to the newsletter section (where I’m having trouble):
http://alphaepsilon.wordpress.com/newsletters/I double checked and the .pdf documents are definitely more than one page for each of these uploads. Thanks!

I’m seeing multiple pages in each one of them. I viewed them all, so there are no problems with the PDF’s.

How are you, or whoever trying to view the PDF’s? From within the browser window?
If you are on windows, you might want to head over to http://www.adobe.com and download and install the latest version of adobe reader, which will also add a reader add-on to your browser.

Strange. I just tried it with another browser (Firefox) and all is well. It must be a Safari preference. Sorry for the trouble!

I’m using Safari and that was where I saw them fine.
What version of Safari are you using and is it on Mac or Windows?

Safari itself is not good at showing more than first page of pdfs. Download latest adobe reader (v 9 or something). Then go to preferences and internet and check ‘display pdf in broser using … adober reader”.

@pallehenckelmac, I’ve never had an issue with Safari and PDF’s. They always show just fine for me. I do however have issues with the Adobe plugin for Safari. It is, just like anything Adobe, painfully slow. That is why I never install the plugin in my Mac browsers anymore.
