The parent menu has disappeared and now I am unable to delete/edit the pages listed in the main menu. I tried to overwrite them but it just adds more…
Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This site at http://sarahjaneabrahams.wordpress.com/ has not been updated since February 28, 2012 and is running an very old retired theme. Themes are retired when they No longer support all wordpress.COM features.
What is the URL of the site you refer to? Is it http://sarahjaneabrahams.wordpress.com/?

I had the same problem with the parent menu disappearing today, and I just created my blog yesterday. I was however able to overwrite the menu by deleting all my menus and creating a new menu. I’m not sure if you’re using more than one menu.
I hope this glitch is reported, even if there may be a workaround. A main blog component, like a parent menu, shouldn’t suddenly disappear.

See my response to your topic Lost ability to customize top menu in Twenty Fourteen layout.
My response to @charliebast at the other topic might apply to your case as well, but (as @timethief indicated) we are uncertain as to which site you are referring to. If the menu displayed on the site https://sarahjaneabrahams.wordpress.com/ is the default pages menu, then this menu will not appear among the custom menus. See the link provided above.

Hi sarahjanea,
It looks like you’ve recently made changes to a different site on your account:
https://sarahabrahamsblog.wordpress.com
I do see the menu there, however. Could you let us know if this issue has been resolved, or if you still need help?
