Not able to use site
-
I can log onto my site, but I have very little functionality after that.
I can:
click on the bell to see who liked/followed/commented
read those comments
can only access the reader if I click on “visit” but not the page itself
can see “My sites” only if I search from browser and am on the site itself, not my usual link
from My sites, I can see my blog posting and can access administration–only from here can I add a post.
I cannot:
post a blog from any of the blog posting shortcuts/buttons
read anyone’s posts
click on my avatar
open my sites from the reader box
go back to the reader pageWhat I have changed
I have only changed two things in Administration under”settings–discussion–I tried to keep the post available for comment open longer (100days) and unclicked the email me when people like my blog.
I have:
restarted the computer
cleared the cache
What is wrong? Any help would be wonderful. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Suddenly it started working again. I was able to access everything as if nothing had happened.
The only thing I did to try and resolve the problem was to lower the number of days to keep allowing comments (from 100 to 50). I can’t imagine that was the solution but…
Either way, I will keep the post you sent me in case this problem ever flares up again.
Thanks for the quick response. -
