No title, but display tagline

Add topic to favorites
I’ve uploaded a logo, so I don’t want the title to display, but I do want to display the tagline

Alternatively, I could add text below it, but would want to match the font style, etc.

Hi @jaburds,

I was able to remove the Site Title by going to Theme Customizer ->Site Identity -> Delete the text in Site Title -> Click on Published.

Have you tried the above steps?

I did try that, but when I link to the site on another forum (fb, insta, etc) it reads ‘no title’…so that’s not ideal.

I appreciate the help though!

Hm..

I have an idea, how about adding a “space” in the title field?

This way, it isn’t an empty value.

For branding purposes, I do want it to display my title, I just don’t want it on the header.

Ah, I see. Add the following CSS code to your theme.

You can add the CSS code by going to Theme Customizer -> Additional CSS -> copy and paste the code below into it -> Click Publish.

This would not display your header.

.site-title {
display: none;
}

Let me know if that works.
