No plugins available

  • I searched for a plugin and activated it, then I changed my mind and deleted it, but did virtually nothing else in between. Now my WordPress site (janinemharris.com) comes up with an error ‘plugin not found’ or similar with nearly any plugin I look for, even popular ones like Contact Form 7. But Gravity Forms (which one pays for) is available. I think there is an error because I’m sure that those plugins should be available on my brand new paid site. I’m assuming it is something to do with the plugin I did install. I couldn’t clear the cache per the suggestion in this wizard because it auto-redirects to a different site after I click on jetpack.

    What gives?

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

  • Hi @janinemharris – That’s really odd! When I visit Plugins > Add New Plugin at your site, and put Contact form 7 in the search box, Contact Form 7 comes up as expected:

    Would you mind sharing:

    • a link to the page where you’re doing your plugin searches
    • a screenshot of what you’re seeing when no results are coming up

Once we have some more information we’ll be glad to continue investigating.
