No one at new job knows how to access backend of website. How can I get help?
-
I’ve started a job with an old website that needs updating. I need to open the website, but no one at my job has the correct access code/passwords. Who can I talk to for help?
thank you-

Hi there!
Can you let us know what the URL is of the site where you’re having this problem? Once we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise.
NOTE: We can only assist with websites hosted at WordPress.com. If you’re using the WordPress software, but hosted elsewhere, you will need to reach out to your hosting provider or the WordPress.org community for guidance:

Thank you!

Thank you.
Yes, this is a WordPress site. The URL is https://bigshowcm.com/ My understanding is it was built several years ago.
Thank you so much for your help-

Thanks, Susan. That site doesn’t appear to be with us, so its login data would be different from your account here.
Are you using https://bigshowcm.com/wp-admin to log in?
If that isn’t working, your host may be able to help you make backups and use one of these recovery options:
https://wordpress.org/support/article/resetting-your-password/Then, if you need more help, head to the forums for self-hosted sites at https://wordpress.org/support , since these forums are for the free sites hosted here at WordPress.com. Here’s the difference between our services and your installation of WordPress with another host:
