No email forwarding options

    We transferred thelanikaihut.com domain over from Google Domains and now all of our email forwarding doesn’t work.

    We are not seeing an option to setup email forwarding. The 1st instruction is to go to “From your dashboard, navigate to Upgrades → Emails.” The dashboard is blank. All it shows is “Select a site to open My Home…No sites found”

    On Google Domains we had (email visible only to moderators and staff), (email visible only to moderators and staff), (email visible only to moderators and staff), and (email visible only to moderators and staff)
    forwarding to (email visible only to moderators and staff) but now it doesn’t work.

    Any help is much appreciated.

    It looks like the domains were transferred over to WordPress.com successfully, but they weren’t assigned to a WordPress.com site, which means the email forwarding settings weren’t present.

    I’ve gone ahead and created a free site on the account, and moved the domains over to that site so that you can now access this for each domain. These can be seen here: https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/evnwdmkcm.wordpress.com – please ignore the “Domains need updating” message for now.

    I’ve also gone ahead and added the email forwarding you require here: https://wordpress.com/email/thelanikaihut.com/manage/evnwdmkcm.wordpress.com – you should receive 4 separate verification emails at: (email visible only to moderators and staff) – can you confirm you’ve received these ok?

    The chat in the dashboard is useless.

    I’ve taken a look at your support history and can see the experience you’ve had with HappyBot. This is something we’re looking to improve internally, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

    On a side note, it looks like the sites are hosted with Siteground currently – as the domains are with WordPress.com, it is possible to consolidate things further, and migrate the sites over to WordPress.com using this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpcom-migration/ – the process is completely automated, and can be done in such a way as to not disturb the live site, and the email hosting that it looks like’s in place on some of the domains.

    A WordPress.com Business plan, would need to be in place for each site, should this consolidation be of interest to you.

    The above is just food for thought for when any of the renewals with Siteground are due, but at any point we can articulate the correct steps to make this migration happen.
