naming site

    I’m not sure about what the site name is exactly? Is that the URL. My blog has rather a long name: 4891 – Reversing the 1984 Effect in Today’s Society

    So I don’t know whether it is the site name or tag line?

    Correct account: Yes

    I’m not sure about what the site name is exactly?
    If you’re referring to a WordPress.com site, then the site title can be set at General Settings, as described in the General Settings support page.

    Is that the URL.
    The site URL is the site address, for example https://mybigsiteishere.wordpress.com.


    So I don’t know whether it is the site name or tag line?
    The tagline may be added at the same location, but in the Tagline field, which appears below the Site Title field. The tagline doesn’t display on all themes, and on themes that do display it there may be a setting
