My website is down
-
My website is built on WordPress with Bluehost servers. The domain is owned by a company called Wild West Inc.
On Jan 11, I first noticed an SSL error. I tried to fix it by myself and mistakenly changed the DNS to WordPress servers, which brought the website down.
In April, I realised the issue, and put in the Bluehost DNS.
ns1.bluehost.com
ns2.bluehost.comThen I got the same SSL error message as before. I spoke to Bluehost support who said the Nameserver for the domain has not been updated and also the A record is not pointing to our server. In order to do this, Bluehost said I needed to contact the registrar of the domain.
I contacted the registrar of the domain and we tried to do an account recovery on the domain in order to update the A reocrd and the DNS. The recovery failed and I was told to contact WordPress.com ‘for further assistance’.
Ultimately I want avoid future issues by transferring the domain to Bluehost, but in order to do this I need a confirmation code from the current registrar, which I cannot get because I don’t have an account with Wild West LLC and therefore no account access.
Now I am trying to contact WordPress.com and being referred to a forum. How do I proceed?
WP.com: Yes
Jetpack: No
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello!
It appears that the domain setting on your account may need adjustment. Please review the settings at https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/farnearer.org and switch the “*.wordpress.com” URL to be the primary domain. Then, double-check and update your DNS settings for Bluehost if necessary.
Let us know if you encounter any further difficulties!
