Multi-language website with Pique theme

  • I am building a website with the Pique theme. In particular, I am exploiting the static front page, with the other pages added in subsequent panels.

I need to have this website available in at least two languages (I can make the translation myself; I don’t want automatic mediocre translation). However, to the best of my knowledge, most of the multi-language plugins change the links to the pages. This results in the front top page being correctly translated, but it doesn’t affect the subsequent panels which remain in the original/default language (the links remain to the default language pages, rather than being changed to the new language pages).

Bottomline: is there a way to have a multi-language website, using the single-page multiple-panels front page of the Pique theme?

  • I would suggest a multi-site multilingual solution; I don’t think the Customizer panels work with multilingual plugins. You can see an example of one here: http://restaurantgiaba.com/ – the language switcher is at the top right.
