Modifying and adding new posts – gone up the creek!

Since last week I cannot amend or add new posts to my blog http://www.eresourcesatbradford.wordpress.com. This started when the admin tabs vanished from the top of the blog. When I managed to login to WordPress and ask the system to remember me, the tabs reappeared. I added a post. This post did not appear on http://www.eresourcesatbradford.wordpress.com but at another blog which I fiddled with early on but do not wish to have anything to do with anymore. The URL of the erroneous blog is http://www.eresourcesbradford.wordpress.com. The URLs of the two blogs are very similar. However, why are new posts going to eresourcesbradford and not eresourcesatbradford? How do I get to amending/adding to the right one when my account doesn’t seem to list the correct blog in there at all. Help!

If the two blogs are on the same account, make sure that under the “my dashboard” you have the correct one selected when you create a post. Also, go into users > your profile and make sure you have the correct blog set as your primary blog.

By the way, just for future reference, there is no www in any blog URL here at wordpress.com. It is replaced by eresourceatbradford.

sametti: those two blogs have separate user accounts. sametti is not an administrator of the eresourcesatbradford.wordpress.com blog. You need to either log in as the administrator of that blog, or add your sametti account as a user of it.

Tellyworth, thanks. I am the administrator for eresourcesatbradford but don’t have my details to log in. I use (email visible only to moderators and staff) to get a new password for this blog but what I get sent is the login details for profile where the other blog (wrong blog) lives. Can you help? Also, why does the dashboard tab on my correct eresourcesatbradford take me to the wrong blog admin side?
