Making gallery images clickable to a link
-
Hello,
I searched and found the thread above. It’s from 2008, though… If things are still the same, then I cannot link individual photos in a gallery to another URL. Assuming that is correct, I followed the instructions in the thread above and I ended up with the thumbnail images all smushed together. So I followed JustJennifer’s instructions to add a space between each photo. Instead of a space (as you can see on my blog), it added a line between each photo, so they are stacked vertically, rather than spread horizontally across the page.
Can anyone help? Either with making a gallery clickable to another URL or else with help in adding the thumbnail images and getting them to display properly. Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I think you should remove those
<p> ,,, </p>
tags around the img and a tags.
Or another thing you could do is make a table with m rows and x n columns, and within each cell enter one linked image, thus the pictures will display properly. -
Delete the whole thing and reinsert the three images one by one, without adding spaces or anything; just select Alignment:Left before inserting them.

@panaghiotisadam : hmm, correct point, plain p tags are stripped. Actually it was present in @testingocean ‘s blog page. Does entering a new line in the html editor adds a p tag around that line ?

thank you…that worked :)
Related question (can I ask that here?): Is it possible for me to change the font on the photo caption?
-
@testingocean: You’re welcome. No, you can’t change the caption font (except if you buy the CSS upgrade).
@phoxis: Pressing enter once in the html editor creates a br tag; pressing enter twice in the html editor or once in the visual creates a p tag. Both visible in the source code but invisible in the html editor.
